How long do you keep my information?

1. Date Of Birth;

1. When applying to become a volunteer we use your identity documents, including your date of birth to verify your identity and your eligibility to work in the UK
2. When applying to become a volunteer you may be required to undergo a DBS check if you are in a role which is public facing. You will be made aware at the time of interview whether this is a requirement.

We keep your personal information for no longer than is necessary for a period of 7 years to; maintain compliance with our insurances, in the event of any legal claims or complaints made against us, and for the processing of our financial accounts.

How we use your personal data

Use of personal data allows us to better understand your needs/ interests and provide you with a better service, and for the following reasons:

– Provide you with the information you have asked for
– Keep you updated on our work, activities or products
– Process donations or payments we have received from you
– Further our charitable aims, including fundraising activities through interaction with you

– Register and administer your participation in events for which you have registered
