MK Friends has had a shop in the hospital since 1985. It is run by a small team of staff and the shop has many volunteers who come to help every day serving teas & coffees, taking cold and hot food orders as well as serving on the till.
All profits from the shop go to help support patients in the hospital and local community.
The shop is open 364 days a year
A wide range of items from freshly prepared hot and cold food as well as hot and cold drinks. Range of confectionery, toiletries, gifts, cards, newspapers, magazines and many other items.
We are here to help so if you can’t see it then just ask one of our friendly volunteers or staff.
We have a 5 star Food Hygiene Certificate.
MK Friends shop is situated on level 1 in the blue zone. It is next to the garden with tables and chairs most of which we purchased. We are near the breast clinic just inside the double doors on the right.
Eaglestone restaurant is next to us. You can either take away your food and drink or eat in the restaurant seating area or garden.
We purchased all the furniture for the restaurant and most furniture in the garden so sit and enjoy your food.
Our bread, cakes, rolls and baguettes come from family bakers.
We have fresh deliveries throughout the week.
Our staff freshly prepare all the sandwiches, baguettes, rolls and wraps every day so they are always fresh. If you can’t find it and we have the ingredients we will make it for you.
We make salads to order and you will find a range of pasta salads.
We have freshly baked cakes delivered. The iced buns are very popular!
All our packaging used is made from vegetative plant material and is fully biodegradable.

We are well known for probably the best bacon and sausage sandwiches around. Just ask anyone who has had one, they always come back for more.
We do a range of hot sandwiches and toasties as well as paninis and pies.
We now do freshly made omelettes and they are delicious. All the eggs we use are free-range and are from the local, Mursley.
